The interactive had been in the works for a long time, but kept getting sidelined by one project or another \u2014 an overly long primary season, Olympics, the election, and so forth. <a href=\"http:\/\/topics.nytimes.com\/topics\/reference\/timestopics\/people\/l\/andrew_w_lehren\/index.html\">Andy Lehren<\/a>, a database editor at the Times, drove the data collection and reporting side of the project, while <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dotsquiggle.com\/\">Brian Hamman<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tysonevans.com\/\">Tyson Evans<\/a> hooked Andy&#8217;s data up into an updatable feed.
